Welcome! In our Parental Control, parents can lock Mtotosmart Learning App on their phones to keep things safe. This makes sure that your child can only explore and learn within the app, without accidentally messing up other stuff like photos or emails. With these protections, you can relax while your child enjoys a secure and fun learning experience. Open the doors to our digital world, and let the learning adventure begin—safe, supervised, and full of excitement!  Please follow the steps below for iOS (Apple) devices and underneath it steps for Android devices;

iOS (APPLE) DEVICES:

The way to lock your apps is to use Guided Access. Guided Access is another nuclear app lock option that prevents you from leaving the app you have already opened. This can come in very handy when you have to give your phone to another user for a particular app on your phone, but you are worried that they might venture elsewhere without authorisation.

1. To enable Guided Access, head over to Settings and select Accessibility
2. Now select Guided Access and enable the toggle.
3. Now head over to Passcode Settings and set Guided Access Passcode.

The lock apps on the iPhone guided access feature are pretty cool. It lets you lock your device to use a single particular app. To enable the Guided Access feature, triple-press the power button or the touch ID to enable it in any app. This feature works because it locks the device to a single app. So, it comes in handy when handing your phone over to your friends or family. But you are worried that they peep into other apps and check your text messages or your Instagram.

Again, triple-press the power button or touch-id to end the guided mode, enter the secure password and click on End at the top right.

ANDROID DEVICES:

To secure an Android screen, Google introduced a feature known as Pin Screen. It's easy to use and quite handy; once you pin an app, no changes can be made until you enter your PIN again. Whether you're allowing your child to watch YouTube on your device or showing someone a picture but worry about them scrolling or accessing other apps, Pin Screen provides a helpful solution. To pin screen please use the steps below;

Keep in mind that different phone manufacturers have various names for this feature, including Pin Screen and App Pinning. In any case, you should be able to find the feature among the advanced security features.

1. Open “Settings” and go to “Security.”
2. Find “Advanced” or “More security settings,” and click on “App pinning.”
3. Enable “Use app pinning” and “Ask for PIN before unpinning.” 

Now, you can pin any app on your phone.

1. Open the app you want to pin.
2. Swipe up to launch the app tray and click on the app’s icon.
3. Select “Pin app.”
4. Click “Got it” on the confirmation screen.

 To unpin the app, swipe up and hold until you’re asked if you really want to unpin the app and prompted to enter your PIN.
